Breakthrough in the core equipment of my country's marine electric propulsion system
China Electric Power News Network News The "Engineering Technology Research on Ship Integrated Electric Propulsion System" undertaken by China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation 712 has successfully passed the acceptance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, marking that my country has two series of low-voltage and medium-voltage marine applications with independent intellectual property rights. Promote the supply capacity of the core equipment of the electric propulsion system such as frequency converters, propulsion motors, and intelligent control modules. Among them, the core products, such as propulsion inverters and propulsion motors, have been approved by the China Classification Society for serialized products, filling the gaps in this field in China. At present, the relevant research results of this project have been applied to more than 30 ship sets in multiple ship types such as scientific research ships, dredgers, and crane ships.
At present, the 712 Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation is carrying out technical research and product development of zero-emission clean energy ship electric propulsion systems, including all-lithium battery electric power systems, hydrogen fuel cell electric power systems, etc., to further enhance the advanced equipment of my country’s ships and marine engineering Independent innovation ability to improve the technical level of my country's marine electric propulsion system.
